Anonymous verified exit stories

Stories about leaving a company.

ExitVerdict is where people post what it was like to leave a job. A story is anonymous unless the author chooses to add a name. Before it is published, the author verifies that they worked at the company.

The company does not write or approve the post. "Verified" means a reviewer looked at documents that appeared to show employment. It does not mean every sentence was confirmed.

The iOS and Android apps are coming soon. ExitVerdict is not listed on the App Store or Google Play.

How it works

  1. Show you worked there

Upload a document such as an offer letter, pay stub, or separation letter. Reviewers use it only to check employment. It stays in private storage and is never published. Redact anything that is not needed to show you worked there, such as bank details, a Social Security number, or salary.

  2. Write what happened

Name the company and describe why you left. Posts can include ratings when the app asks for them. A post may be held for review before it goes live.

  3. Keep your name off, or don't

Anonymous is the default. You can choose to show your name on a post. Details in the story can still identify you to people who were there. We know which account wrote each post, and we may have to disclose that if the law requires it.

What other people can see

Public

  • A published story, and the company it names
  • Your name, only if you chose to reveal it

Not public

  • Your email address
  • Verification documents
  • Posts that have not been published

Stories are personal accounts. They are not career, legal, or other professional advice.
